Ells and Clyde are - as of now in The Historians - not dating y-e-t, but they're steadily moving in that direction. Right now they're just close friends who are too chicken to ask each other out.

Background explanations: the green border around the Union Jack behind Ells represents the roof of her 1968 Mini Cooper; Clyde's got the two flags representing his heritage behind him (his father's British and his mother's Dutch).
